While Barbados was placed 5th with a one point difference from the Jamaican score of 561 its dominance of the gold medal table was apparent with 21 gold-7 golds ahead of rival Martinique and 9 golds more than the overall winning team Guadeloupe.

A further analysis also revealed that Barbados received the highest scores in the 13-14 division with 310 points. With 168 points the 11-12 division contributed the 2nd highest point score for Barbados and the 15-17 age group 68 points placing this division in 8th position overall.
